How to run /scannow in safe mode?

    Is there a way to run sfc /scannow from safe mode? The run option doesn't show up from "start"

    Nice tutorials, but unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't run in safe mode...

    Ah, my bad - 'cmd.exe' won't run in Safe Mode.

    Well, then: why not '/scanboot'? Seems as if that would accomplish the same thing as a Safe Mode scan.
