    Hello guys,

My windows 7 x64 Desktop PC is connected to a wireless router via an ethernet cable. My HP Android tablet is also connected to that router by Wifi. I think I can share files between the two devices if I can deploy a network between them. Have you any experience on this issue, if so, please guide me on that.

I have never tried. If you can tell your phone to behave like a "storage device" (this is a USB setting in my cell phone), you might be able to do it. But "sharing" folders like this can potentially open up your devices to security issues. When I want to send a photo, for example, from my cell to my PC, I just email it to myself.

Is your android tablet charged with a USB connection? If so, unplug the cable from the charger and just connect the cord to the computer.

    Forget the network!
I regularly connect 2 android tablets and an android phone to Windows computers by the charging cable and move files back and forth. I've been doing it this way since I got my first tablet several years ago.

I tried a wifi app on the tablet and truthfully, it is not worth the hassle.
