I want turn a exe file to a local service ....
    I tried using
    sc.exe create "myservice" binPath= "C:\Program Files\ABC\abc.exe"

The service does get created but I do get an error on starting that up .
    I get a following error
Could not start the abc service on Local Computer .
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in timely fashion .

On the service recovery tab, try setting a delay on restart. 2 min solved a similar prob for me, but you may have to experiment.
