how was my weekend......

well this weekend was our last race. i'm alittle upset right now a friend died in a race car yesterday they said his heart went out on the back side of the track and stoped breathing on the front and wrecked (you could tell up till he hit the wall he was fighting that car to keep it on the track) you know the emt's there did not even know C.P.R.!!!!! he died on his way to the ER. when he crashed the EMT's said he was fine but someone standing at the car yelled at the EMT's to get his *** out of the car and not to let him die in his car thats when everyone started cutting the roof off the car to get him out. (the car was not in bad shape the nose on it was broken up because of the wall but that is nothing to what i have seen before) they would of had him out afull 10mins sooner if the emt's would of knewn what they were doing because they said he was fine and not to worry when he was really dieing in the car ( I.E) not breathing and had massive heart failure. the guy that drives the EMT's van could not even be found so we had to find someone to drive the EMT's van...... thats all i can say for now i will post some more info when i can but that just about sums it up

 

I didn't know these things (not the crash, the delay) happen also in USA. Anyway, my deepest sympathies for your loss. Feels terrible when something like that happens and you know things could have been different.

 

That's terrible! It's kind of scary, I'm pretty involved with the local car community here and have many friends who race regularly.

I can't believe the incompetence of the medical "professionals" there! What are they for? To look good? WTF?!?!?

I'm sorry for your friend, but I hope someone nails the track owner's balls to the wall, before it happens to someone else!
