How was your day?

I had one of those days that just makes you sorry you got out of bec.

No sun out today. Just a blah day.

 

I've had a week like that, and likely to continue through tomorrow. Oh well, at least tomorrow's Friday.

OH it was nasty here too. Cloudy, and now it is raining.
This morning i woke up late and missed the cheese. My mom had to drive me to school, and that made her late for a doctors appointment.
I had a ton of homework to sift through. I had a paper to write for English. It was supposed to be a basic 5 paragraph paper, but it ended being 4 pages long. lol

it wasn't too bad for me, i woke up before the sun came up. at school till 1, came home and downloaded some music and worked on a project with Thrice blasting out my speaker. ah i love it!

My day was good. I finaly dragged my lazy ass out of the house for some shopping. Bought some clothes at a good price. Got to walk the whole time in the cold, cloudy outside world. I love bad weather. Seriously. Then I came home and watched TV. I don't usually watch TV so it was kind of a nice change. I never thought I'd say that about TV.

 

Same 'ol crud - different week. Spent most of it in bed sick. Now I'm out of bed, I wish I hadn't.

 

Do you get a yearly flu shot?

 

I would have gotten a flu shot, but i cant find any anywhere! Not my doctor, not my parents doctor, not even the Walgreens will give us any.

I am going to get soooo sick this winter. The last time i didnt get a shot i was out of school for 2 weeks.

cooked, at your age, I would opt not to get the shots. Here in Canada, they really push it for the youth, but it isn't good for them. IMO There are long term effects that the public isn't informed about and as far as I am concerned people under 45 should not get them. I intend to not get them until I am 70 and only have a few years left.

 

No, I'm not game to. I'm still recovering from the Doctor's last effort. He gave me penicillin, which they know I'm allergic to, and just about finished me off!

Why did I take it then? I didn't realise it was Penicillin derivative until too late.

Since I'm also allergic to eggs (which the vaccine is cultured in), I really don't want to be made more sick than I am a.t.m.

 

Phantom sounds like where your at, you get sick very often. Ever think of moving? That area is just not good for your health.

Been so very busy. Some nights by the time I get to bed, I think I am already sleeping before I lay down. lol

How is the weather in your area? If it's nice, sure would love to hear about it. If I was to talk about the weather hear, it would make you chatter.


@Lugz...ya, I think I may have posted that a few times. I am located in the frigid north where very few people want to live.

 

Heck no. I'm one of the idiots that actually want to live here. I like isolation. I hate the winter, but once you get past that....it's livable.

Well there was a few post I made last winter that I think I may have actually said where I was located. If there wasn't then I am shocked. Usually around this time I start the normal complaining about Northern Ontario winters. Then my brain goes numb from the cold after a month or two, that's when I stop complaining.

lol, no way. Too many people and too much pollution. I wouldn't even want to live in Sudbury, let alone Barrie. Barrie is a nice place to visit, just I couldn't live there. I like the isolated effect. Getting tired of the bears though.
