I am installing a printer over a network...Basically my question is can a bad driver cause a printer to print poorly....i.e looks as if there is bad ink cartridges but I know they are good, (swapped w/ another machine). When I say poorly printing it almost looks like there is something preventing the ink from touching the paper every few lines, and I am wonder if that driver can cause that. I figured once the machine is being communicated with that would automatically rule out the driver, no? any help would be great....thankz

New printer or old printer and has it been used much? maybe heads need cleaning?

Try it on 1 machine only not linked to network printing to test print quality.
