HP Digital Imaging Monitor

This program that came with my HP Deskjet F4200 Series All-in-One printer encounters some kind of error everytime my computer goes into stand by. Upon turning my computer on after having been in stand by I recieve an error message informing me that the program has to close. Is there an update or something that can fix this problem? Can anyone help? I have used HP Update and it says that there aren't any updates.

COMP INFO:

OS: Windows XP PRO SP3
COMP: Dell Latitude D810

 

It is a inherent problem with XP. There is nothing you can do. What happens, is the program polls the printer to see if it is there, and when you come out of hibernate or sleep, instead of waiting, it sends out a poll request. It does seem to be fixed with Windows 7.
