Hp dv2000 doesn't power on

As it says, my dv2000 doesn't start up (doesn't even beep or anything).

I used it just yesterday and at night I went to some kind of "party" and it was in my bag the whole time, and this afternoon after trying to turn it on nothing happened, I have pressed the power button like a madman but nothing happens, not even the fan... nothing!

I dropped it this week but it worked like always, but since I left the party somewhat in a "bad" state, I remember dropping my bag to the floor and my friends noticed the sound so I guess I dropped it from pretty high.

ANYWAYS, I don't think the dropping is a reason, since the AC "ring" in the laptop turns on when it is connected and even the battery is recharged fully even to the point the power led doesn't turn on since it is friggin' full.

Dv2000 doesn't turn on (nothing is heard, not even the fan) after pressing the power button.



I know this problem is pretty weird and it's probably hard to help me like this but I'm desperate, I have tried to see if it was the power chord running from the mother board to the button but it seemed fine to me, but what do I know.
