HP laptop hard drive and OS installation

:majorI am sitting here looking down at an HP dv8237ca laptop computer. I am also looking at a new hard drive for this computer. I have the computer, both HDs, a phillips screwdriver and an XP Service Pack 2 disc. I have the old drive out, and am ready to put the new drives in their cradles and install them into the system. Something tells me that I am missing something, like possibly drivers??? :confused
What do I need to know in order to download the drivers required for that system? Which order are these drivers installed? OS first then drivers, or the opposite way around. I have absolutely nothing from HP and don't expect them to give me anything either. This system also supports Lightscribe; just in case that makes any difference. H-e-l-p?

Go to the HP site and under DRIVERS and SOFTWARE enter your machine model number and download the drivers. Burn a CD with the driver on it so you can read it when you install your OS.

I suggest that when you let the XP CD format the hard drive, and install windows, you can get all the drivers here. Then is usually better if you install the graphics driver, first, as this will give you a better screen to work with, then install the rest.
XP will install some as it instals itself- you then install the rest, but update the graphics, as soon as you can.

As it turns out, HP actually sent me an email with a link in it to all the drivers and instructions?!?! Me?!?! They never speak to me... So thank you guys for all your help and I'll be back the next time I get lost. LOL :wave
