    Hey Guys,
I've posted a few threads about my friends netbook an HP Mini 1000(with Ubuntu:p). It will not connect to a wireless network. Now the right hinge on the screen is broken off(screen still works and all) but my thinking is that it damaged the wireless antenna. My question is:
Is there a way to fix this?? Or should he just get a new netbook?
    Thanks,

    Hi Spock,
I don't think that the broken hinge will have damaged the WLAN cable as it runs up the left side of the screen, i think it will be more likely that the driver is not compatable with abutunu. To fix the hinge is a reletively easy job I have linked the Service Manual for you to have a look at.....
