HP Notebook wont start up

Hi,
i have a problem with my HP Notebook.i turn it on and HP logo appears and than nothing, everythings black.i´ve run memory and Hard drive diagnostics and everything is ok.I cant do anything to make it start, i´ve tried to boot it from my windows vista cd but id doesn´t work cause it doesnt reach that point where i can hit a button to make it boot from the cd. It´s always just HP logo and then just BLACK.In Bios is everything ok.Please help!!!

Are you able to get into the bios?

 

yes im able to get into bios but theres nothing i can do there

 

Are you able to edit settings?

If so I would try and reset the settings to default. It should be someting on the bottom of the screen like push F10 to restore default settings.
