HP PSC 2510 all-in-one MAJOR PROBLEM!

Well this has happened a while ago. My printer started freezing (freezes on the little navigator screen) and scanning (in which it was scanning NOTHING) out of no where. I have turned it on and off, turned it off from the power supply and restarted my computer yet it still scans nothing and freezes. I once left it without touching nothing and it stopped.. unfortunetley I have tried this AGAIN and it didn't work and continues to freeze and scan.

What can I do? Please this issue is driving me nuts!

• 1. Switch on the printer.
• 2. Unplug from power and disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
• 3. Wait about a minute.
• 4. Plug in the power only
• 5. Unplug power, wait, plug in power two to three times.
• 6. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the USB cable to your computer

 

Ok I just did your method but now it scans nothing and the navigator screen isnt' frozen
WHATS WRONG WITH MY PRINTER!!!!

 

You can try a reset
1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
2. Press and hold Cancel and the Right Arrow while plugging in the power cord.
Continue holding until it displays S Full Reset message in the front panel
