HP PSC 2510 Software install?

I recently bought a HP PSC 2510 All-In-One Printer/Copier/Fax/Scanner and while installing the software after detecting my wireless network it had an error installing ...... The name of the file that had a problem was photo(something i forgot) Anyone know any issues related to this? My dad is about to lose it with this printer In need of help lol!

its this error..... we tried what it had to say, well my dad said he did, but it didnt work.

NOTE: At the module that failed section PhotoGallery Failed....

 

I have one of those aswell.
Mine installed perfectly.

 

i have a new hp psc 1210xi. i had problems installing it. it turned out it didn't like the old printer still being there. presumably the same applies to old scanner or copier software? i was told to uninstall my other equipment, and its worked fine since. i rang HP as it was still new, and would advise you to do the same. much aloha.

 

yea we did install MDAC still didnt help but we havent tried uninstalling the old printer stuff..... I dont know why it wouldnt like it, we also got that from hp...... But i will have my dad try it....

 

there is probably computer jargon for 'doesn't like'. far as i can tell its a 'fight' for default. (i have visions of little men inside the puter battling it out for supremacy) !! lol. aloha laurie
