HP Recorery (3 DVD's)

Hi,
I have made recovery disks for my hp laptop now I want to get just the OS disk out of the 3 VERY UNNECESSARY disks it made with all the crap I don't want from HP How do I go about this?

I really want that HDD partition back so I can set up a triple boot on my laptop (win7 / ubuntu / backtrack4) but if i ever want to put vista back on it or sell it I want to be able to with out having all the other crap in vista from HP.

any suggestions are appreciated thx

that looks nice but I dont have a "Windows Upgrade Anytime DVD or retail vista DVD"
I only have the 3 recovery DVD's I made and I am not about to give HP ANY MORE $$ (o hell no) I also find HP support to be even more brain bashing than Windows. They will never just transfer you to tier 3 support and make you go through all their unnecessary steps as they read a script off a screen and have no idea how to answer a question thats not on that screen
(I can almost see their finger on the screen as they read to me)

Is their no way to extract or create an original ISO from the recovery disks and still be able to use the Key on the bottom of my laptop?confused

Ok, take your time with it, must be many other people who've done it by now, maybe more refined or simpler methods out there too.
