HTML Code problem

    I have a questions.
    I wanna tell others how to add the files to the website by adding the HTML code < a href="the URL">the title name</a > in the body, so that vistors can download the file by clicking the "the title name"
    But that HTML code become active automatically, how can I just show the HTML code but not ative it?:confused
    I hope you can understand what I'm saying.

    you have to sub codes for the markers so the code is not seen as html and displayed as such...

    Thanks foogoo, just figured it out..
    ">"="&gt", and "<"="&lt"
    Replace them, then the HTML Code can be shown.
