HTML Video Tutorials

For my PDP (Personal Developemnt Project) I've decided to try my hand at teaching. Since I'm not technically qualifed to teach anything, I figured I may as well try teaching somthing that I'm good at, so I decided to try web design.

And so, I'm going to be running some workshops at my school for web design and (X)HTML, CSS and suchlike. However, in order to make sure that all the people attending are up to speed on the really easy stuff that is now being taught in year 7 at my school, I've decided to make some simple Video Tutorials about setting up a basic HTML document, and how to make tags.

What I'm asking is, would anyone like to watch them for me and give me some feedback? Doesn't matter if you know HTML or not, I just want some feedback from some people before I send them out to my workshop attendees

Videos will be anything from 5MB to 15MB, so be warned

 

I'd definitely watch them, could do with a refresh of some html anyway!
Doesn't matter about size now I'm on 2mb connection!

If anyone can use HTML and CSS and wants a challenge, then ask me about my time trials. They are seriously cool (even if I say so myself). Once I'm done teaching, they'll be able to make a full scale layout in 10 minutes flat!

Third time trial is getting on that way, and is very CSS orientated. Basically it asks you to make a layout somewhat similar to my blog www.goldfishsbowl.co.uk, but a bit less complex, in 7 minutes. I just did it myself and I did it in 6:49, but only because CSS was being inconsistent and I paused to work out why.

The first 2 are fun too, it includes putting together a box with content in it and formatting, in 2:30. I managed it in 2:12, so hopefully thats going to be fun!

 

I have no clue on web design but I will take a look always willing to learn new things, If you are willing to let a Noob look LOL

 

That was well presented! It kept my attention, I am amazed as to what goes in to building a web page I have much more respect for all of the work involved. I also think I may look into learning more on this it is very interesting.thank you for the Tutorial ! loved it

I just recorded a 40minute tutorial on the basics of CSS, and it was ruined because the video went out of sync with the audio Poop.
