I think am going to start building a site using html(actualy 2nd but left first one half way through). Any ideas on what it should be about?
I myself have no clue what to start off with

 

Why not design yourself a blog. All you need to do is design the basic layout in one HTML file, then fit it into files required by the templete system the blog software is using. That way you can make a dynamic website without needing to know a server side language! It'd be a challenge, but a good project to get you started.

Or you could go down the more traditional route: make a website for a hobby or interest of yours. For example, if you were into music you might make a website about the local music scene, linking to various other related websites, write gig reviews, that sort of thing. Possibly computers? Write a few simple guides on common things you do with computers, like deleting temporary internet files, history, setting windows XP to use Classic or XP style mode... Or maybe a website for a club you are a member of?

Or somthing totally off the wall! Invent a silly scheme and make a website of it. A spoof of another website? A website for a club/society that doesn't exist, but if it did everyone would want to be a member of it! Or perhaps one that nobody would even think of joining. Somthing totally abstract, like a whole load of HTML elements having a social gathering.

Ideas!
