HTPC - Suggestions :)

Hello everyone

I am wanting to build a semi decent HTPC.

Wireless
Decent graphics card with HDMI output
Don't need audio over HDMI as I am going to use PC surround sound
2x 1tb for storage in Raid (One will be containing all my movies, photos etc. while the over is a complete mirror back up of it)
Nice smallish case don't mind to much if its a MATX tower case.
Matx or mITX board.

I was just woundering if any one had a HTPC they had built on the cheap and what hardware they used or if any one has any suggestions - never really built a HTPC before always built gaming machines so I keep getting drawn toward aiming for a machine that would be good for gaming instead of just good enough to be a HTPC! lol

Any one got any suggestions for hardware I should check out or software I will be using Windows 7 Home Premium which has Media Center on but I do like XMBC as well So again any suggestions on other really nice looking media centers (I'm a sucker for a good looking GUI) then I am all ears!
