    hey guys,

i had that terrible "all-find" bug today and it took forever now to get rid of it.
now that i killed it though, ive noticed i can no longer just type "www." in my addy bar, i have to type the "http://" also or it wont work.

any idea what i screwed up , and any idea how to fix it so that i can just type www to get to webpages again?

    thanks

    Try the below:

Copy the contents of the Quote Box below to Notepad. Then click File and then Save As. Change the Save as Type to All Files. Name the file fixpref.reg and then click save. (make sure you save it somewhere you can find it. Saving it to your Desktop may make that easy.) Double-click on the fixpref.reg file on your desktop (or locate it with Windows Explorer and double click on it if not saved to the Desktop) and when it prompts to merge say yes.
