    Hi,

I am using Huawei MobileWifi E5331 on my laptop at the moment. I know the device can be connected to 8 devices at maximum, and I want it just for my laptop and nothing else. Is it possible to stop the device from broadcasting wireless signals so that I can connect it with a USB cable? Alternatively, is it possible to make sure that I am the only one using it? My machine's OS is Vista, if this is any help. Thanks.

I believe you have to connect via ethernet cable. As long as your network key isn't entered into someones wi-fi connection setup, they shouldn't be able to access it especially if the security is WPA2.
