has anyone ever shocked the end of an eternet cable when it was pluged into a hub and have the part of the hub not work... Is there anyway to fix it. My setup is... modem, to router to room, to hub/router, computers. What happens is when I plug in the cable, my "Internet connection is unpluged" Flashes every 2-3 secs. Anyway to fix this hub or is it ZAPPED! Thanks. and it's a linksys

Usually that port on the hub is fried and will never work right. Just put some clear tape over it and connect it to the next port down the line.

you could get a new switch or hub for 20 bux now. get a few extra ports on the next one.
