    here's a google shocker: http://www.google.com/search?q=huntsman&tbo=u

depends on ur settings, i suppose, but i'm getting 19 creepy crawlers to 1 creepy humanoid!!

(actually, i like huntsman, but the line was too obvious...)

is this spider REALLY so famous as to soak up 95% on google??

At least Huntsman was smart enough to pay attention to the polls and cut his losses.

Now if only Rick Perry could do the same...

i hope perry stays in for the same reason i wished huntsman, bachmann, and cain had stayed in -- so gingrich could lose to more people!

i wonder what kind of bug i'll find if i google his name....

local TV totally ignores tonight's primary results. i wonder why -- they had been so over-the-top with coverage of IA and NH.

local radio carries a special for 2 or 3 hours, just long enuf to catch Romney, Paul, and Santorum speak.

then right around 8:59 local, they announce "It looks like Speaker Gingrich is about to make his victory speech now, let's listen in..." but before they could do that the station cut to...INFOMERCIAL!

lol. and not a single other station carrying it.

    Rodney Dangerfield would be proud.

It's the weekend; to the networks, ratings of their lame shows are more important than someone winning a Republican primary in a state half the country couldn't find on a map. ;)

I guess the infomercial paid more.:) Free enterprise.

"Free" enterprise always comes with a price tag. :-D

Besides, the infomercials are usually more entertaining than any political candidate. With them you are just getting a preview of the next four years of incompetency, lies and rhetoric. ;)

I guess it is just a weekday/weekend thing. Stations I'm used to had 8 or 9 hr specials on IA, then scrambled to stretch it out further when the tally started flip-flopping.

SC got, at most, 2 hours. And that was only on 1 out of 3 or 4 radio stations. The others had, at best, the 2 minute news blurb at the top of the hour. And even THERE, Gingrich got shoved aside for the Paterno news.

    I don't get no respect!

Hmmm. This jogged a piece of trivia lodged in the back of my mind: Decades before his Presidency, Ronald Reagan was an actor and pitchman for GE Appliances.

If TV shills can move into politics based on recognition, the death of America in the form of an infomercial may not be far away:

"Hi, Vince Offer here for my 2016 Slap Wow Vince for President campaign! Other candidates sthickhy stinking too much? Vote Vince! Elect me in the next 20 minutes ('cause remember, I can't keep doin' this all day) and I'll DOUBLE my proposed tax cuts, just pay separate processing and handling!" :-D
