This afternoon to have landfall,most of storm will start late tonight and through tommorrow,,,please stop back for another look ,,,some rain and wind from the outter bands at the moment, Glenn

YES 2 storms,,yikes,,,, we have 2 safe rooms with hurricane shutters,,this cam is mounted in a window that is just where the storm shutters cover,,there is a 1in gap where window is exposed,,,all is ok,,,we are ready from the last storm with supplies,,Just hope we don't loose power,,we have all new wires since the last storm, unkless the whole grid goes down we will be alright,,if we loose power to my dads house wego,,if he still has his LOL, Glenn

I'm sure we will lose power sometime tonight. I just hope it doesn't take as long as they are telling us. 3-4 weeks, possibly more?????

 

glenn, last storm didn't you lose power to half your house, then your whole house? i think you posted that. i'll have to research it here. you and your family take care of your selves. best wished and prayers.

Thanks Eric we all need prayers down here, and yes on the electric,,,and did not return for 11 days,,,Hope it's not that bad again,,but if you look at the National Hurricane website or just look in the Lounge at the sticky ,,,here we go again,,there are posted pics of the current storm, its a monster they project will be CAT3 by landfall,, Glenn

Picture captured from web cam. It looks pretty stormy there. Hope all is well and that you survive this one.

 

Here is another picture some five minutes later. Looks like the palm tree is getting a good blast.

 

Five minutes later still. Looks like glenn is moving the camera. It's a wonder that those buildings out there don't get blown away.

Webcam suspended untill morning hours !!!
Pending we still have electric,I have 8 Hrs of Runtime on my laptop,2 batterys . Will stop in on the boards to give a status update.

We are about ready to head to the saferoom so I thought I'd give an update. We are experiencing some very high winds & alot of rain at this moment. Looks as though the eye is gonna go right over us.............A...gain. They are showing 5 Shear Markers, which indicate possible Tornados, just to the southeast of us. Moving to the Southwest at 97mph. I figure the eye will be over us in a couple hours.

THANKS eric and yes AC ROCKS loL Last storm, 10 days no electric,,had to up root to dads,,was 90+F in the house once the wind stopped,,,
