Hyperlink problem

Hi All
Hope I am in the right place to get an answer,
When I send this link to a friend http://www.auction.co.uk/residential/LotDetails.asp?A=893&MP=84&ID=893000053&S=L&O=A
It only goes to the home page, not the page I want them to see, even if you copy and paste it in the address bar, it still only goes to the home page…..but if while on the home page you copy and paste the link again it goes to the full link
It is driving me mad please help

There's nothing you can do to open the site directly at the page you want, without having first visited the site. Once you visit the site, you'll have the site cookie in your browser cache. As you've noticed, once you have the cookie, if you paste the URL into the address bar or click again on the hyperlink, you'll be directed to the page you want.
In short - no site cookie -> redirect to home page.

No point in it driving you mad :banghead, it's just how this site is designed to work.
