I am being attacked

when I got home from work today my computer was acting weird. I have a new antivirus software on here. I did not put it here. There is a green sheild with a check mark in the middle of it. I keep getting notifications of a infiltration from this anti-virus software. I did not install this software.


I have Avira installed on my computer but I cannot run it. I can't run any of my malware or any other programs. When I try to run them I get a error message saying the file .exe is infected. Every minute or so this program gives me a warning that i am being attacked. Then it asks me if I want to block it. If I click yes it takes me to this site:http://antispy-guide.net/purchase?r=70.10&pgid=1.

Can someone give me some advice? I tried to follow some of the malware faq's but as I said the virus won't let me do anything. I tried to start in safe mode but I could not

Please help me.

 

I am running xp. When i try and run the task manager it opens and then i immediately get a error message saying application cannot be executed. The file taskmgr.exe is infected.

 

No I can't run system restore. Whenever I try it won't give me the option to go back to a earlier date. I was having a problem with system restore before this current problem. I tried to figure out what was wrong to no avail. I've had several different antivirus programs in past years AVG, Avast, Avira, Norton and none of them were finding a problem, so I just forgot about the system restore issue.

 

browser does work, not sure if I can download though I'll check. Don't have access to another computer. My other one has some problems, power supply, windows me, but I may be able to get it going.

it won't give me the option to run it just save. When I try to open it the antivirus says it is infected. How do you run it from your browser?

 

firefox. i tried right click. but it only gives me the option to save. if I click it then it saves it and I can't run it because it is a .exe.

thanks for helping me, I had to restart because it wouldn't let me refresh or open a new page. I am afraid my browser is going to quit working.

I don't have any freinds nearby with a computer.
