i am my own radio station now

so i was just reviewing the numbers. at this current moment i have 4.57 gigs, over 60 hours of music in my WMP library. that is only half my cd collection plus what i still want to download. i just hit shuffle and i am my own radio station without commercials. ah i love it!

i have all this becuase i am waiting for my ipod, which i should be getting for christmas.

Just another 35GB or so to fill up an iPod

And besides, a decent radio station would have a pile more digitized music than that, trust me. The BBC owns TERRABYTES of music to play over their radio stations.

 

yeah its just a start, its not even 1/8 of my cds, plus friends cds, plus internet.

I think I have that much just in jpg (no not that kind either! )

Now when you can get to gigs in every genre then your in the station big time!

 

Shhhh...

Yeah... my problem is I only have a 40GB hard drive, so I can't rip ALL my CDs because it would fill it up with no room for anything else! My step dad has ripped all of his 1000 or so CD collection to his PC, and has some space to spare on the iPod

 

damn 1000 cd collection, thats a beast. i just have around 650, but my friends dad has almost every 70's rock cd made. his collection is crazy huge. gonna borrow that
