I am NOT getting older, just my girls are

The title says it all. This past weekend, my daughters were trying on their prom dresses. Even without makeup and hair done, I think they look pretty nice, even if I am a little biased.
They are 17 and 18.

And I mean that in a nice way!!!!!

My wife is pregnant as we speak, and i'm sure it will seem like tomorrow when we are trying on prom dresses or tuxes, learning to drive, and all those coming of age things!!

They grow up awfully quick, don't they?

 

It seems like an eternity to grow up when you're a kid, but once you've done it, you spend the rest of your life wondering at how quickly the early years went. And when we have our own, they seem to change with each month - which they do to some extent.

 

Roger, make sure you take photos every birthday, at least. That way you can make up a "This is my life" history and present it to her / him, on their 18th, or 21st.

The bowling trophy belongs to my daughter who is handicapped. The other ones you see are basketball, which are from the two pictured here. They also have trophies for softball.

I also agree with taking lots of pictures..this for Rog.
it is amazing how they change and grow.
