Good idea in principle, but I can see a lot of arrogant drivers tailgating and hassling me more if they read something like "Back Off!". Going slow, and stopping frequently works a treat. They usually get ticked off and overtake me eventually, which they cold have done in the first place in most cases. No dimwit going to force me to speed.

A P.A. speaker works well if you wanna get 'verbal', LoL!

 

Digital Electronics class I took in /80, we built something similar, but the chap who took it out to try it had some obnoxious character tail gating him so he punched in "Back Off" on the screen, and had his car smashed by the dude, then he was punched out, and the display was ripped out of his car............Never did find out how it turned out after the court case was settled...........mmmmmmmm one of life's unanswered mysteries I guess

I'd rather have one of those scrolling led signs in my back window with a bunch of preprogrammed messages.

But I think this thing is illegal in some places in the states.

 

I have a 16 year old who is very effective in delivering pre-programmed messages.....I wonder if this thing can be tweaked for customized signals?

Maybe a built in dig camcorder or camera for judicial evidence.

I want one that says what you want it to say nothing that is preprogramed... hmmm a friend of mine sells them belt's with the led's that you program to say something. maybe i can rig something up

 

I love this!! But then I'm a big kid. In the 80's I used to have one of those dashboard gadgets where you could nuke cars with four different bombs sounds. Was funny freakin my passengers out for the first time
