I am to young but and I am not the kind of person that "keeps up on all the stuff" that they do with the world. I watch news but thats about it. So I dont know how to go about this. But is there any way to get help or assistance or anything If your jobless/broke no insurance and need test done(exspensive test) and see what happens..?

Silas, I think you need to better explain what you're asking. ;)

Hello silas; Not sure what kind of test you are talking about. Is this medical? I presume (could be wrong!!) - as you mentioned insurance. What is your nationality? Is free health care available? How old are you? An adult? You will need to answer a lot more in clarity.

I have known members of a photography forum *chip* in financially to help out a fellow member in medical distress. I hope to be able to help in a small way, if you feel it is acceptable to you. As of now, I'm unclear as to what you require.
    You do need to elucidate.

    Cheer up :)

I see Laura has the same query.

It is assistance provided by your state for medical care. It is well worth your time applying for it.

    Good luck silas.

I know people that apply for that stuff and it has been denied many times. I was worried of the wait. Also would I have to pay that for that? Like normal insurance? Or reduce pay?

Silas, I live in Illinois myself and have had to use some of these services too. You need to go to your local public aid office and explain what is going on with you. I'm certain that they will either be able to help you out or point you in the right direction. Without further information we could not possibly be able to help you out, information that you may not wish to disclose in a public forum. Also they are much better qualified to recognize exactly what type(s) of assistance you may need at Public Aid. Bear in mind that they will take into consideration your financial status, work status, housing and other such factors that would affect your situation. Best of luck to you sir.

    Yours,
    Jack

I would say whats going on but I don't want it public for ever. Hm I have nothing/own nothing. I live with someone. And I have no income, injured, and the problem is insurance.. The insurance from this other party don't Max pay is very low. I went to get massages and back popped for long time, ended up being a joke.. and now I am waiting to go to doctor.. but they dont want to send me there unless ciropractor says its "okay" and I am not at this max money of this persons insurance. And Iam right below the max. that the insurance said they pay. (its a joke amount to) anyways I am worried that Ill get work done(lots of money) and then after to get free lawyer to go after there insurance.. and try to get bills pay for. But I am worried that insurance will get away with it (for what ever reasons) and So as a young guy that wants to get back into job work force, and I dont want to worry that something could be wrong and Ill be in wheelchair in few years.. I dont want to be stuck with huge bills that Ill have to pay the rest of my life for someones dumb mistake.

I understand. As I said, go and talk to them, it won't cost you anything and they may be able to help or at least point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Hi silas, listen to Wraith, I may live in Mi., but we also have a Public Health Dept., and they are VERY helpful. Depending on what you need, they can help tremendously......Either help you directly, or send you in the direction you need to go. Good Luck, and do keep us posted;)

And, as an aside, you might be able to get in touch with a lawyer to help you sue on a "contingency" basis - his fee comes out of anything you win, you lose, you pay him nothing. That MIGHT get you some action from the other insurance company. Hope so.

The thing is insurance is being a doosh, I know about the lawyers that get paid when and if you do only. But I am worried I may get screwed. The insurance (isnt so nice when I talk to them each time, and pretty much made me very upset and mad) and I many times hung up on them lol. But they bad talk and say this and that.. when why the hell would I bother with this if it didn't happen.. Just insurances being insurance I am told. And no doctor would see me earlier cause no insurance "clearly stating they would pay for it" so I had nothing and ER would just went to me directly.. so I sit with pain and problems until then.
