I am touched by the kindness...

I got this in a PM last night on isuzupup.com and i can't beleave the kindness they know i been having a hard time coming up with the money to go to a P'UP meet we are having and afew thought they would try to help me out. It has just touched me. I was not asking for it nor was i gonna ask but some have made me the offer on there own and it just touched me. It just goes to show you there are still great people in this world

Just my luck yesterday while i was putting in my fuel tank my boss man/friend called and asked me to come over for a min and well he gave me $20 for some gas too. lol I must of done something real good. Maybe tomorrow before i go i got to go see my doc maybe she will have that laptop with her that she said i could have because she bought a new one i see her once a month and she has forgot to bring it the past 3 months.

Oh there will be photos i may not be taking them but someone is for a mini-truck website and for the P'UP site. I will be taking my video cam for some video shots of the trucks.

 

Well today is the day i am leaving. i am gonna leave at 1-2PM got to go to the shop at 10am to get the glasspack put under it and to go over a few things. Don't want a wheel to fall off on the way lol then i got to see the doc at noon i hope she don't forget the laptop she said i could have because she bought a new one. that would be nice to take with me

Well i am back. Met a lot of nice people and seen alot of great trucks the V8 one was alright but the one i liked you will just have to see when the photos are up. Right now i am tried i was gonna come back Sunday but thought i could make it back tonight plus i did not want to stay in the wal-mart parking lot again lol i will tell more later i'm off to bed i hit the road around 5:30PM and got home at midnight and drove through some hellish weather..


BTW i don't care what anyone thinks of my truck it rides like a dream, drives like a dream enough room for anyone and it made it back from there about 450miles on $47 in gas and still 1/4 tank left and whats left after the E line.

 

i see i made a typo it was $37 not $47. So lets see i left Charlotte on 1/4tank at 50miles out i filled it up $27 and did not put no more gas in it till i hit Macon and there i put $10 in. So i think it does pretty good on gas for it being a 86 model truck with a carburetor.

 

Always liked the little isuzu trucks.
2wd or 4 wd?

 

Mine is a 1986 2.3L Spacecab LS 2WD But i really wish it was a Spacecab 4X4 Turbo D Mine is rare but not as rare as a 4X4 Turbo D Spacecab. I beleave mine right now would cost you about $1000 but the Turbo D model goes for around $6000

The IZUZU is not a seen a lot over here mostly the Trooper if at all,
they tend to go for the big V8 Chevrolets as it all get written off to tax, the general members of the public have small engines as the road taxes are based on the Kwph of the motor so only if you are in your own business can you afford to run big cars
