I cannot install anything I download

Hello. I am CursedOne and I have been having some problems lately. I run Windows 7 and lately have been unable to install things. I can download them from the internet and when I proceed to click on the install, they simply do not open. They will pull up a window that asks me about changes to my computer by a certain program/website.

Examples of Installs Unable to be Installed: LogMeIn Hamachi, Eclipse, Photoshop, FRAPS, Spore Creature Creator, etc.

I have recently uninstalled Norton Confidential from my Google Chrome, however. It seemed to have changed my Youtube abilities as I did so. Now before every video, I have to watch quite a few ads, and click a HUGE play button to start the video.

If you could help that would be great. It has began to get really frustrating :crybaby. Thanks.

 

The installation issue is simply Win 7's User Account Control (UAC) at work. Are you saying that if you confirm you want the process to continue that it won't do so? If not then simply give your assent and the installation will proceed.
