I am ready to loose it, I can't seem to gain the upper hand this year at all!

    March 09:
Extremely Low Potassium (NSAID Abuse - Nurofen) -> 0.2
    Fluid On The Lungs

    April 14th:
    Pneumonia
    Fluid On The Lungs
    Pancreotitis
    Kidney Failure
    Liver Failure
    Liver Absus
    Stomach Ulcer
    Hole In Stomach
Torn Obsofokis (Due To Trekky & Coughing Line)
Slew Of Infections (Including Golden Staph, Oral Thrush, etc)
    Fluid Retention (Legs)
Canula Blood Transfusion That Failed & Went into my Arm Tissue!

Released to Hospital In The Home (HITH) for 4 Weeks from May 10th......

    Late June:
Developing Bowel Obstruction, Sent home 4 different times, last time being told "We Don't Keep People In Hospital For Constipation"...

    July 4th --> August 4th Hospital Admission:
Bowl Obstruction, First Operation to cut adhesion's from old scar tissue (Appendix @ Age 13, Gall Bladder & Stones Removed In 2007)
2nd Operation to open me fully from below pancreas through to 2 inches below belly button, removed dead bowel, comments made on Lungs, finding of Kidney Cyst, etc

Now I think I am developing another Bowel Obstruction! My toilet habits have changed! I thought I got good news on Sunday with my Liver & Kidneys improvement since last blood test!

I drink 8 Litre's of fluid, lucky if I pee even half a litre!, Only going to toilet roughly 3 times a day, and wee very little! Number 2's have changed from a stool to diarrhea roughly 3x day, pains are similar to last bowel obstruction, I am too scared to go to hospital because they don't take me seriously until theirs physical evidence for them, so I have to wait until I stop going to the toilet before even considering going in! :cry

I am trying so hard to keep my spirits up, so my morale doesn't hit rock bottom, but how much does one have to go through in one bloody year! It's starting to become pathetic, I am sick and tired of being sick! I am OVER it already, so please just stop and let me heal!

And healthcare workers wonder why I am suffering from severe anxiety & depression! I wonder why!!

Oh man!! What a go around!! You have all of our deepest sympathies!! Is it time to change doctors?? Find someone that will be more aggressive with your care???

Keep drinking the fluids...even if that is causing the runs...and don't get overly worried about the lack of urination. Your system may just be needing the fluids.

    I wish we could help!!

Thanks, I just want something to go right for a change, I hate not being in control if you know what I mean, I can do my best to make sure I do not compound the problem, but I can't seem to do anything from making it stop, if that's a way to explain it?

I have a really good doctor at the moment, if it was not for him I do not know where I would be at right now, he really cares! and he doesn't need notes or anything to remember me or our last conversation, and a nice thing that I really like is that he is sincere, and actually means it when he asks "How have you been", he isn't the typical Dr that just gives you a pill and sends you on your way, he will try his hardest to find a solution and a long term goal, instead of the general practices 'Quick Fix'!!! I hope he will be my Dr until he retires! His bloods worth bottling!

And unlike the hospital, who start something, then expect the Dr & Patient to pick up the peices, he said if they go to shove you on any medication tell them NO! That they need to consult me first, no matter what time of the day, or night! I have never met a more enthusiastic, friendly, doctor in my whole experience these couple of years, and I have seen MANY doctors, this one is by far the best! And makes the ED doctors look like they are in work experience!!!!

I just took a diazepam to calm myself down a bit, making me feel a bit docile! I might go for a lay down, been trying to get my uTorrent to find a working port, got Windows Firewall off, but still no good, I am using a Dynalink RTA100+ ADSL Ethernet Modem, I think I need to set it up in their, thats what uTorrent is saying, I have the TCP/IP set to automatic on the ethernet card, but accessing the modem via 192.168.1.1 admin section brings up a slew of modem options, however the firewall setting is off, but I still can't get utorrent to light up green, when I have uTorrent open I can't surf the net, my connection drops in an out, I have Internode ADSL 1500/256, and in uTorrent I have selected xx/256 as my connection, but still downloading is near impossible and even slower than dial-up, yet if I download something freeware & small, say 7MB, it's blistering fast, but anything larger, just fails! and is slower than a snail!

Anyone got any suggestions on how to setup things, if so contact me via luthius@live.com and I`ll let you desktop share via MSN Messenger, so you can set things up for me, I have no clue on what to do when it comes to ADSL modems and con figs, I just put in my username/password and expect it to go from their, of course if I do not use utorrent, I can surf and download via web fine, checking ports that I put in utorrent come back as failed to connect, like I said, I have absolutely no idea on what I am doing there.......

I have 2 other modems, a Netcomm NB5, but I cannot access it via 192.168.1.1, and doing a reset fails when I hold the reset button in with a pin for any length of time, 10 seconds, 15, even 20 seconds, I even tried holding it down for upto a minute, no go.

I also have a Alcatel Speed Touch Home, however I accidentally reset it, so I have to work out how to get it back up and running, I don't know if it would be any better than using the Dynalink, do not know whether it is newer, or just better, I can't access the admin section because I don't know where it is roughly, I have an appointment for counseling to go to this morning, I`ll attempt to configure it when I get back.

    Cheers,

    Davo

A a long term gastritis sufferer, I can imagine only too well how truly miserable life becomes when your digestive system no longer works smoothly...

Here's a thought. You obviously have a good doctor, if nothing else because he seems to care about his patients. Could he refer you to a gastric specialist?

Oh, and for the torrent thing, post in Software or Networking... ;)

Hey EXOX3 I'm sorry to hear of your health dilemma. I do hope it reverses soon.
When my urinary track/bladder/kidney start acting up I hit the bottle of cranberry juice. It's what my mother started me on when I was young and the doctor concurred on the use of it. I can't take it full strength so I cut it back or I open a can of cranberry jelly and eat 1/4th of it.(I have to be careful with the jelly as I love the stuff:drool and will devourer all but maybe a 1\4 of the can.:-orolleyes)Depending on how bad the infection is will determine how many days to drink it. But that's me Ask your doc first to make sure it's ok to do it.
    Get Healing.

Hey EXOX3 sounds like you are due some good luck.
I know how you feel when nothing seems to go right, I have had so much reconstructive surgery that i am sick of hospitals and although i have a lot of pain some days i point blank refuse my surgeons wishes to cut some more out but in the end i will be back under the knife.

It is really difficult to keep up the spirits when you feel so down but look at it another way, you can always find a sympathetic ear on MGs.

I have an appointment with my Dr this arvo, see what he thinks and recommends, I lost my meds too! left them on top of the roof of the car as we were packing, and didn't realize until an hour later when I went to take some maxalon! I need to look after my meds more cautiously!
