I can't close my Windows

I'm just not sure where else to post this, I have Windows 7 pro running on a PC. Suddenly, I can't close the window. I can close individual tabs, just not the window that houses them.

I know this is pretty lame.

I've closed all the space gobbling windows.

The Minimize button doesn't work, the Restore Down or as I call it, the Tile button doesn't work.

I haven't tried the Close option because I don't want to lose my tabs.

I tried CTL/ALT/DEL to reset.

Overlooking?

Tabs, I'm guessing, IE, firefox, chrome, or some other browser?

 

try running the browser in safe mode without any add-ons enabled to see if that solves the problem if not you could try uninstalling the browser and download it again and install. Seemingly you are talking about browsers as you mentioned tabs.
