i can't double click my drive c:

i need help here.

i have already done all the tips on virus and malware removal. it detect nothing. i have avg antivirus and counterspy for spyware.

my problem is that when i double click my drive c: it does't open. i have to right click it and click open. it is a bit annoying. and there an anutoplay in the choices and it bothers me...

Download Dial-A-Fix from Major Geeks. Check everything in the 'Registration Center' (you can check every box everywhere if you want, it's impossible to hurt anything). Click on 'Go' and let DAF do its thing... about 2min or so. That should do it.....

it doesnt work.. but when i scan it again with avg a new worm is found small.BO. and now if im going to click the drive c: an error message will appear it says that FS6519.dll.vbs is missing.

Below is a common fix for re-registering Windows DLL's in XP. It is worth a try and because it is internal won't hurt anything.

 

Hi again. Looks like you have malware. I don't know anything about judging the risks of using various fixes (maybe you should go back to the malware section). But I'll give a link to a post that has a very similar problem. Check the comments section of the post there is a link to an automated fix. Also from the original link is a Yahoo link that gives a manual way of dealing with the problem.

Also lots of google results for fs6519.dll.vbs, you may want to read several before trying anything.
