I can't download any file

Hello,

I'm having a trouble downloading files from internet, anytime I try to download, the download box opens, if I click "open", nothing happens, if I "Save as", the download begins, and seems to be downloading, but once it's complete, there is no file in the destination folder nor any other folder.

Can you please help me??

Ah, and forgot to say, the only way I've managed to download files is byt copying the shortcut and then pasting it on Download Accelerator Plus...

 

doesn't download accerlerator make their software the only default way of downloading, which is what you did exactly...have you tried uninstalling it

 

Yes, I used to work with download accelerator, but i could always choose between use it or use the standard IE download box, anyway, I uninstalled, but still nothing, so I had to install it again because right now it's my only way to download files, and also the DAP is not working fine as it's supposed to start automatically when I click the download link, and it doesn't. The strangest is that the Explorer download box shows that the files are being fully downloaded, they don't exist.
