I can't edit my signature :(

    I'm trying to add a second line to my signature. It shows me two lines in the edit box, but when I try to save it I get an error saying I can only have up to 2 lines, and I have too many. Why can't I add a second line to my sig? :confused

    it's max 2 lines according to the text box, not according to how it will look.

    Not vb, it was a change that was made to only allow small signature lines, basically to stop the long sig-lines that some like, dont in realtity need to know your full PC spec in every post! for example.

    Also why we dont have images allowed in sigs (well unless you an admin, need at least one perk) as some forums have image sigs and the threads load slow for the DUN users, so trying to give everyone a good experience they are not allowed.

    Ah, that makes sense. So the forum thinks it's three lines, since the lines are set to be shorter than what I see on the screen? That makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

    Just to also clear a few things upas I know the comment may come in that some users have long sig lines, they would have had them before the limit was changed, so if you have a long sig and edit it, you will end up confirming to the limit.

    Excellent!!! I can imagine you getting many unwanted PM's, why some people think someone would help them one on one for free is beyond me, especially when you don't know them.rolleyes:confused

    That kind of my thinking too. Though I have helped a couple of them... the ones who were polite, apologized for sending a PM rather than making a post, and who had a good reason for why they did. I just don't want to log in one day and find a ton of PMs waiting for me. :)


    That's okay... you can make it up to me by buying me some more eye shadows for Christmas. :-D

    I must be really scarey as I just don't get support PMs maybe it's the admin thing and folk think theyvwill get banned if they annoy me, dunno... Not complaining mind, as it's better to see a new thread on a topic of support.
