I Can't Get No Satisfaction

    I actually was going to follow these directions, however, along with the email that sent the flag that I had gotten a reply, there was a message that said that it was actually really generic advice and that it was mistakenly posted. since then, I hadnt heard anything. I have tried to follow the removal directions posted on the site. I removed the files associated with the virus, however, when I looked in the registry, the registry keys that Symantec said to look for were not there.

    We seem to be having a problem with following directions! The steps in your previous thread need to be followed. The ones given to you by Major Attitude.

    You keep saying " posted on the site" . I don't know which site you are referring to. Are you talking about Symantec's site? If you are referring to the directions give to you by Major Attitude in http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=64469 then you should have specifically said that. And that is why you need to be addressing this in your original thread. Complete ALL the steps given to you in that thread and respond to it there. You should not be using this current thread you are reading right now for your problem anymore.

    If you no longer have a problem, it would be nice to know that. If you still have problems and wish to have your problems worked on, please follow directions and do it in the other thread.
