I can't get on the internet

Let me start off by saying I am at work and my computer at home is screwed up big time. I got attacked by a virus. It had ad crap with yadio as it's name. And right now I can't remember the name of the actual virus. I have windows XP. the virus attacked my computer so good that it shut down my anti virus and my 2wire firewall. It won't let me reinstall the 2wire from the cd because it says there is a missing shortcut for the uninstall. I am unable to get on the internet now. It keeps saying in the progress bar something to the order of a windows system32 shdoclc.dll It only flashes for a brief second so hopefully I have the right error. My only catch is I can't get on the internet to post hijack this or anything else. I can tell you that I have run adaware and looked at my hijack this myself and really saw nothing out of the ordinary on it. I also ran a sfc /scannow. I also got my anti virus back on and ran it and came up clean now. Please give me any and all ideas so I can execute them when I get home.

No ..............this one was my wife's computer and she already said the H##@@ with it and ran a system restore back to when the puter was new. Thank-you for your concern.
