There is nothing bad in your log. Exactly what is it that you are trying to delete. Are you trying to delete a file or are you trying to uninstall some application?

I do not know what you are talking about. What is the name of file or program you are having a problem with and are trying to delete? Are you trying to uninstall a program or are you just trying to delete a file?

Or do you mean you are having a problem with a website?

ntuser.dat is your registry and you cannot delete it.

On my desktop it says... "50 cent G-Unit desksite"...when i try to delete it, it takes me to my documents folder and in that folder is a ntuser dat file.

When you try to delete an icon from your Desktop, it should just be asking you if you are sure you want to delete it. It should not be "taking you to your ntuser.dat" file.

Exactly where is the ntuser.dat file that you say it is taking you too? Don't give incomplete paths to the file. Tell me the exact full path name to the file. Also what is in the properties information for the icon on your Desktop?

Tell me step by step how you are tryingt to delete the icon from your Desktop.

Also have you looked in Add/Remove programs to see if there is an uninstall for whatever it is that you downloaded. Where did you get this from to begin with? What was it that you installed?

It's some crap my little brother installed, i can't stand 50 cent.
When i right click on the file to try and delete, it gives me 4 options...

    1. open
    2. delete
    3. uninstall
    4. create shortcut

When i try to choose any of these options, it ask for me to choose a program. No matter what program i choose from a drop down list, it sends me to..... (D:\Documents and Settings\Reicherts,) which is where the ntuser dat file is.

Goto Add/Remove programs and see if it appears there! If so, try to uninstall it and see what happens.

Strangely, it's not in the add/remove programs list.

See if you can find it when your brother has logged into his user account.

Also try just dragging the icon to the Recyle Bin.
