I cant Install Freemake Video Converter Access is Denied.

I am trying to install the latest version of Freemake Video Converter in C:\Program Files (x86).

When i try and do this i get this message:

"Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted Error 5: Access is denied".

any ideas?

Hi my friend , what is your antivirus programme ? What is your Operating System ? Is your machine a laptop or a desktop ? :wave

 

Are you running Vista or 7? UAC may need to be turned off prior to running the installer.

 

Its a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 PC.

My Anti Virus is Avast and i also have Commodo Firewall and Ad Aware Anti Virus.

 

It's not the right way using two antivirus at the same time , you must disable them

because of that there is a conflict among them , afterwards you can try to install Freemake Video Converter again , the right way is uninstalling one of two antivirus , you can look at this topic

I fixed it i think it was my settings in Comodo Firewall.

Ad Aware Anti Virus should not cause problems with Avast anyway as it is a second line defense program and its not running all the time anyway.
