I can't install java 2

    When i got to install java 2 from java.com the install opens and task manager says it's running but nothing happens. So i downloaded PC Mighty MAX and it sayed i had like 135 meduim windows errors and sugguestions for me to fix all these problems? Like a free repair or something.
