I know that both of my PC's are eaten alive with malware, adware, and all sorts of other things (my desktop is so bad off that the keyboard no longer works correctly, certain keys type multiple other keys, backspace causes "=", multiple problems)

so, a guy at work directed me here to get your help, I have tried to go through the READ ME, but when it came time to download and install things, they will not install.... it tells me that one of my registry keys is invalid and will not allow me to install anything and to check to make sure I have sufficient room in the registry to install... so I tried to go through and uninstall some things... it gave me the same exact error as when I was attempting to install things....

I dont know what to do here yall... any and all help is greatly appreciated, I'm getting pretty pissed at these computers at this point

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please only discuss and work on one and only one PC in this thread. Other PCs require there own thread.

Please skipped to the parts of the READ & RUN ME with ComboFix and MGtools and try to run them. These programs do not really do a true install and may just work. Make sure you try both of them and make sure that you rename ComboFix as requested. Attach the requested logs from ComboFix and MGtools.

neither of those worked as there was something screwing with my registry....
I brought the laptop to work and a guy here looked it over and figured it out for the most part, now it is to a managable spot....

I beleive he said something about Windows installer was blocking access to the registry or something.... I dont remember

Okay then can you continue now? Or are you saying you do not need to continue because you do not have any malware problems?

But as I said before MGtools and Combofix (for the most part) do not do a Windows installation. Much of MGtools should have run unless you have other problems with your OS like ones mentioned in the error list on the using MGtools download page.
