When I try to reply to any MG thread, just now, I get the message:-

" The board has been moved to a new server> If you are still seeing this message, you could try the following to flush your DND cache. ipconfig /flushdns "

I assume this means to go to Start-->Run.
Type in ipconfig /flushdns and <enter>.
I have done this more than once with no effect. Help. Bazza

Hi Bazza, you need to do it from a command prompt.

So it's Start>run type "cmd" in the run window then type in "ipconfig /flushdns" in the command window. (Obviously without the quotation marks)

Thanks, Scousetechie.:) I figured that out from googling, (in the meantime), but it still did not work, as I still couldn't read replies.

Steve (Matacumbie) suggested clearing my cookies etc, in another thread.:)

I ran Cleanup! and CCleaner and logged off MG.
Logging back on, all seems to be working, again. (phew). Thanks guys, Bazza

I think they were moving the forums, as when I logged on at 6 in the morning it gave me the same message

They were updating the forum. More than multiple times, I couldn't load any pages. In the evening, it's fine.

    Hi Bazza
Maybe your problem is gone by now. I was still having it this morning, so I abandoned my normal route into the site and went in through Google "Majorgeeks" at their Forum entry. For some reason that worked. If the e-mail entry doesn't work after a few days, I'll try all the tricks.

DNS server entries can take time to re-propagate, all should be back to normal in a few days.

I'm still having to enter the forums using the IP http://208.101.7.150/ over the url, but its no issue really in the grand scheme of things! Maybe just kinda weird when you've not experienced it before, but its not a fault, just the way the internet works.

My most recent entry occurred by continually pushing buttons until I found a pathway that would work. I couldn't get in through the link from Google to the forums. I flushed the dns cache, got the same thing, that the forum is now at a new server. I ignored the message to flush the cache since I'd just finished doing it and logged in anyway and made it to the mainpage where I was no longer logged in, so I logged in again and I think I am still here. I feel for you people out there working on this. :) chins up! :)

Thanks, Steve. Have just amended Cookies as per your post.
I am still having trouble logging into MG, despite running (cmd), ipconfig /flushdns, CCleaner, Cleanup! and Empty Temp Folders.

Only way I can get in is to use http://208.101.7.150/forums/index.php
