I could use a few suggestions

As most of you who know me know that I am not a gamer.My next door neighbor is retired and she likes to play marhjong and those type of games.She went to some free sites and played for 60 minutes on some of the games but ended up with a couple of trojans and a bunch of ads that I removed for her.Can any of you suggest a couple of free and safe sites with these type of games.I searched Google and found three sites that look to be safe.Thanks you MK

 

I have one bookmarked at work, where I play Bejeweled whenever I get bored between calls... I'll grab it tomorrow morning and get back to you with the URL. I have a co-worker that plays free online tetris on her breaks, I'll try to get that URL from her as well.

Watch, some of the downloads only give you a limited amount of play then want you to buy.If I really like that game what I do is go into the remove/uninstall program and uninstall it then go to the game sight and download it again. Yeah I know that's not right but as much as I got online at that time I doubt it would add up to anything.(I was on the slowest dial up the phone company had)

Try entering your version of operating system + free games...

I tried this to put on some old units we are selling at work, with Windows 98 no less:-o, i was surprised at the amount of titles and freeware games still available for it. Also just before you start downloading see if you can save the file to disk or (Hard drive) instead, this way you have the install file and dont have to wait to download a lot of megabytes at a snails pace. After it is downloaded try a right click on the install file and if you have antivirus software installed there should be an option to scan it first before installing. While this doesnt guarantee the file is clean it does minimize the risk somewhat.

www.pogo.com is totally free.. plus you can get free membership every so often.. to get a lot of extra games, plus you get to do challenges and etc.. but yeah try that.
