    Guys,

I'm in a bad fix here. I was copying files from my old pc (win 98) to my new pc (xp) with a flash drive. So I decided to cut and paste the files onto the flash drive so they would be gone from my old C drive. I did a cut and paste of a file with 5 years worth of photos in it but the flash drive was full so the computer asked me to retry or cancel. I canceled and proceded to copy another file not realizing that all the files that I had 'cut' were now gone.

What a screw up, my wife is going to hang, draw, and quater me for sure.

Is there a way I can restore my old pc to a day ago or something like that?

    Thanks guys

As you have no doubt realised, never CUT and PASTE, always COPY and PASTE any valuable stuff. Then delete it after you have verified that it transferred OK. I like you, have learn't the hard way, on previous occasion/s. Bazza
