i don't know if this was a hardware issue or os related

today i plugged in my plantronics gamecom pro 1 headset into my home built vista gaming pc and i got a message saying it was installing drivers for it (even though i had it working fine on it about a few weeks already but when that was over i had no sound except a weird helicopter type of noise, so when i checked it was listed as uas3556b (i uninstalled that and had it redetect my headset and now it works fine).LOL

i'm sorry if this is in the wrong group it was just something i wanted to share.
