- VCRun.zip

Extract the contents of VCRun.zip to C:\Windows\System.

Now try to run Firefox

the same message came up again. I did not see a C:\Windows\System. all I see is C;\Windows\Desktop|VCRun so this is the one I extracted it to. After doing that I tired opening up mozzola firefox browser and it did not go through. It said the same error message, should I reboot?

You have to browse to C:\Windows\System. All Windows Systems have that folder. On Windows 98 you extract to the path I indicated. You can not extract to any other location, the dll's must be in the folder I indicated.

By browse to I mean Extract to. That is the actual term.

OK, I located it. I extracted it to C:\Windows\System.
I tried to open fire fox browser and I still get the same error message.

Uninstall Yahoo Messenger. Then try Firefox.

It works now! Thank you, I find it odd why it worked before and all of a sudden it kept getting that error? Oh well the main thing is it is working now after uninstalling yahoo messenger, thank you!

Everyone that is getting that same error with Firefox in the last week is because of Yahoo. I don't know what the conflict is, but there is one.

If you use Yahoo Instant Messenger, then you may want to use a 3rd-party IM like GAIM or Trillian.

OH boy! Hi Shadow, I am sorry to bother you, but I did spy bot search and destroy and it came up with MY Way search infections I don't know if I am going to get rid of this, please shadow what can I do, I thought everything was done and dealt with until I did my scan early this morning.
