.. so i just downloaded this new browser and i dont like it, how do i go back to 6 ?

Goto Add/Remove > click "Show Updates" at the top, scroll down and highlight and uninstall IE7 ( Change/remove ) and it will rollback to IE6

I would incase of misshaps backup your Favorites folder.

To backup favorites folder easily, goto Documents and Settings > your user name and right click the favorites folder ( star icon ) and choose copy, then paste it into a different location, can be any location another partition on hard drive, USB pen drive or desktop is fine as its just a temporary move. ( however its always a wise option to back it up anyways to a location not your C: drive as you would loose all your fav bookmarks and sites if your Windows install needs to be re-installed )

Its just a precaution as removing any software has a risk of loosing data.

If you can't see the favorites (star icon), then ye need to click the radial button "show system and hidden files/foulders", found under:

Click START, then run, then type in: explorer (press enter).
Click Tools, then Folder options, then the view tab.
