i get either froze during my canasta game or booted off?!

can someone help me?! for some reason whenever i play canasta i either get stuck "froze up" or i totally lose connection it says? i know that pogo gets congested especially in cansta! but i have cable internet and i dont think i should be having the proble especially when other are having dial up and they do just fine? can some one help me figure this out because it is a rated game and it makes my rating drop every time:cry

Is the problem recent or has it just started happening? If it just started happening, did you make any big changes to your computer, like replacing your antivirus or switching operating systems?
