I got my motherdrive installed

    Following is what I put in my rebuild...

    I started it up, and I'll be dang. It booted on my IDE drive where I had my 32 bit Windows 7. Works great. Sure is a lot faster than my Intel dual core 2.8 GB.

    Tomorrow I'm going to install the 64 bit version of Windows 7 on my new 500 GB SATA drive. :)

    Hi

    great stuff glad your build went well and booted straight up first time, you will get a small peformance increase with installing x64 win7 on that SATA over IDE

    I've always had trouble mixing drive types in a multi-boot scenario as my mobo would boot to the IDE no matter which settings I made in BIOS. It'll be interesting to see how yours goes.
